Privacy Policy

Nemzetközi Tanácsadó Iroda Kft. – hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller – fully complies with the data protection provisions of the applicable laws, especially with Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (Infotv.), and with the provisions contained in this policy.

This data management policy can be found on the Data Controller's website, accessible at www.fnti.hu. The Data Controller may modify the content of this policy at any time, and will inform the data subjects in due time.

Definitions

  • Data Subject: any natural person identified or identifiable – directly or indirectly – based on personal data;

  • Personal Data: any data related to the data subject – especially the data subject's name, identification mark, and one or more pieces of information characterizing their physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity – as well as any conclusion that can be drawn from the data concerning the data subject;

  • Special Category Data: a) personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, and data concerning a natural person's sex life; b) personal data concerning health, pathological addictions, and criminal personal data;

  • Consent: a voluntary and unambiguous manifestation of the data subject's will, based on adequate information, by which they give their unequivocal consent to the processing of their personal data – in full or for specific operations;

  • Objection: a statement by the data subject by which they object to the processing of their personal data and request the termination of the data processing or the deletion of the processed data;

  • Data Controller: the natural or legal person, or unincorporated organization, who or which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (including the tools used), makes and executes decisions concerning data processing, or has them executed by a commissioned data processor;

  • Data Processing: any operation or set of operations performed on data, regardless of the procedure used, including in particular the collection, recording, systematization, storage, alteration, use, retrieval, transmission, disclosure, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure, and destruction of data, as well as preventing their further use, creating photo, sound, or image recordings, and recording physical characteristics suitable for identifying a person (e.g., fingerprints or palm prints, DNA samples, iris images);

  • Data Transfer: making data accessible to a specific third party;

  • Disclosure: making data accessible to anyone;

  • Data Processing (as a service): performing technical tasks related to data management operations, regardless of the method and tool used for execution, and the place of application, provided that the technical task is performed on the data.

Principles of Data Management

Personal data may only be processed for specific purposes, for the exercise of rights, and for the fulfillment of obligations. Data processing must comply with the purpose of data processing at all stages, and the collection and processing of data must be fair and lawful.

Personal data may be processed if: a) the data subject consents thereto, or b) it is ordered by law or – based on authorization by law, within the scope specified therein – by a local government decree for a public interest purpose (hereinafter: mandatory data processing).

Special category data may be processed in cases specified in Section 6 of the Infotv., and if the data subject consents in writing to the data processing, and in the case of health data, if ordered by law for a public interest purpose.

Only personal data that is essential for the achievement of the purpose of data processing and suitable for achieving the purpose may be processed. Personal data may only be processed to the extent and for the time necessary for the achievement of the purpose.

Before commencing data processing, the data subject must be informed whether the data processing is based on consent or is mandatory. Before commencing data processing, the data subject must be clearly and comprehensively informed about all facts related to the processing of their data, including in particular the purpose and legal basis of the data processing, the person authorized to process and process the data, the duration of the data processing, and who can access the data. The information must also cover the data subject's rights and legal remedies related to data processing.

The data subject may give their consent to the processing of data relating to them.

Courts, public prosecutors, investigative authorities, and other bodies authorized by law may request information or data from the Data Controller. The request may only concern personal data to the extent strictly necessary for the purpose of the request.

Purpose and Legal Basis of Personal Data Processing

Data processing related to the services of Független Nemzetközi Tanácsadó Iroda Kft. is based on voluntary consent, and personal data is directly obtained from the data subjects.

The purpose of data processing is the contractual performance of the services stipulated in the contract, facilitating performance, informing clients, and sending newsletters.

The legal basis for data processing is the consent of the data subject, with particular regard to the provisions of the Infotv. and Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce services and information society services.

Scope of Processed Data

Personal identification data (surname, first name, birth name, title, place and date of birth, mother's maiden name, nationality, ID card number and validity, address card number), contact details (phone number, email address, permanent residence, temporary residence), and other data voluntarily provided by clients.

Rights of Data Subjects

All data subjects may request the rectification of their personal data, or its erasure after the termination of the legal relationship.

The data subject may object to unlawful data processing at the email address fnti@fnti.hu, or is entitled to turn to a court or the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (1125 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/c.) to enforce their rights.

Duration of Data Processing

The Data Controller processes data provided for marketing purposes until the withdrawal of consent.

Data Transfer

By registering online or on paper, the data subject agrees that their personal data may be transferred by the Data Controller to its affiliated companies, which are: Független Nemzetközi Tanácsadó Iroda Kft.

In addition to the above, to facilitate its administrative tasks, the Data Controller may transfer a specific part or all of the personal data to a commissioned data processor, subcontractor, or assistant for the purpose of performing certain data processing operations.

Data Security

Personal data is stored and processed at the Data Controller's headquarters or in BIX on a web server protected by 24-hour guarding. The Data Controller takes all administrative, IT, and physical security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, and all possible threats. The Data Controller ensures the physical protection of paper-based documents containing personal data.

Clients can visit the www.fnti.hu website free of charge, without providing personal data.

By providing and sending data, and by visiting the website, the client consents to the Data Controller processing and handling the provided data in accordance with the laws and this policy, and also consents to the automated individual decision-making data processing described below.

Under no circumstances will the Data Controller make personal data obtained during registration accessible to others – without the express consent of the data subject – except in cases of legal obligation or official proceedings, and to members of the company group and data processors.

Parts of the website use "cookies" – files stored on the data subject's hard drive for data recording and to facilitate the identification of the data subject and subsequent visits. The data subject can set their browser to be notified when a cookie is about to be sent and can determine whether they want to accept it (You can find more information about cookies at http://www.cookiecentral.com).

The website provides a subscription option, by filling out which the data subject consents to Független Nemzetközi Tanácsadó Iroda Kft. using the data provided by them (email address, phone number) for marketing activities.

The internet addresses of computers, IP addresses, are logged on the website to record the user's visit. By analyzing this data, the Data Controller compiles statistics, for example, to determine how often certain parts of the website are visited by users and how much time they spend there occasionally.
